Inspired by the enduring legacy of artistic movements: musical Impressionism, seminal jazz scenes, collectives like Wu-Tang Clan, Bloomsbury, Blaue Reiter, and Dada, to contemporary ensembles in theatre and film (The Wooster Group, or the ensemble casts of Wes Anderson or Christopher Guest) she approaches culture as a collaborative force shaped through shared vision and exchange.

Meet our Founder

Melissa Fowler is the founder of The Yvette Agency and a cultural strategist with deep roots in international music production and artist development.

As an artist manager and record label founder she has produced over 600 live performances across Europe, alongside the design and delivery of residencies and cross-border initiatives within the contemporary rock music and neo-classical landscape.

A firm believer in community as a catalyst for creative evolution, Melissa is a member of Smart Genossenschaft. This enables her to draw on a wide network of multidisciplinary professionals to service the needs of any project, no matte rhow large! Through this structure, The Yvette Agency offers clients not only exceptional artistic talent, but a cohesive, efficient, and highly organised framework for delivering complex creative projects.

Melissa also serves on the board of a private arts foundation in France, where she co-produces a flagship residency and conference dedicated to supporting composers and performers, overseeing everything from partnerships to budgeting, logistics, and large-scale event execution. Her experience also includes acting as a funding administrator for international cultural programmes.

Earlier in her career, Melissa worked at Sotheby’s, supporting senior leadership in a high-pressure global environment. an experience that continues to inform her approach today: precise, composed, and strategically attuned.

Melissa is known for her ability to connect people and ideas with clarity and purpose, creating structures that allow artists and collaborators to operate at their highest level.
